San Diego Chargers Quarterback Philip Rivers
Last year Rivers was selected as an alternate but he's had an outstanding 2009 season and will back up starter Peyton Manning for the AFC.
Rivers has passed for 4,155 yards with 27 touchdowns and just nine interceptions while completing 65% of his passes. A candidate for the league's MVP award, Rivers owns the highest quarterback rating in the AFC (104.5).
Houston Texans Defensive End Mario Williams
It hasn't been a great year for Williams, but he's earned the Pro Bowl selection with his ability to not only make plays but also draw double-teams to free up other defenders on his squad. Linebackers Demeco Ryans and Brian Cushing also made it for the Texans.
Williams has totaled 41 tackles, eight sacks, and two forced fumbles this year. It is his second selection to the Pro Bowl.
Arizona Cardinals Safety Adrian Wilson
The hard-hitting safety earns his third selection and will start for the NFC. He has tallied 79 tackles, five interceptions, two sacks, two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble, 10 tackles for a loss and 15 passes defended.
After collecting an interception and sack last weekend against St. Louis, Wilson became just the 10th player in NFL history with at least 20 interceptions and 20 sacks in their career.
