"I've got to applaud the fans that were here... we really appreciate them coming out and giving us the energy they did."

"We started out a little slow and had to make some substitutions early. Get some guys in there with a little more energy."

"Sometimes it happens. You hate that it happens, but you hope you pick it up at some point."

"The fans that were here, I heard them. I heard them at the very beginning... but we did come out a little sluggish."

"I thought C.J. [Williams] in particular made some great reads against their zone... picking it apart hitting Dennis and Richard."

"Our interior passing was pretty good, but C.J. from the perimeter really did a good job of finding the open guy."

"Team policy, Javy broke a team rule, and that was my decision not to start him... it wasn't a snowball to the face. It was something else."

"I thought we were very patient."

"He's a friend. We talk basketball and we talk life. It's fun to compete against your buddies, and he does a real nice job with those guys."

"It's a nonconference game and for us at this particular time it was good because we had two losses and were trying to get back on track."

"I was so proud... two things happened in the second half. One was Rico's play where he was up pressing a guy and got the deflection and scored."

The other was Deshawn Painter when he dove for that loose ball and got it. That says a lot about that young man."

"Those guys.. the game was pretty much over but they continued to play. Johnny Thomas running as hard as he can to get a layup. I was as proud of those guys as I was the guys at the beginning."

"That's what I told them in the locker room. That says a lot about the character of them and this ballclub."

"We need all the links. I told them, we can't have a weak link, and those guys finished the ballgame."
