The NC State basketball staff has targeted two more recruits. TSW begins our exclusive coverage for these two juniors as we continue to look toward the Class of 2004.
NC State continues to search the Class of 2004 for top prospects. TSW has reason to believe that the Wolfpack coaching staff has made small forward 6'6" Galvin Grant
(Saint Raymonds High School in New York City) and 6'4" shooting guard Justin Cerasoli
(West Senior High School in Aurora Illinois) top priorities from the class of 2004.
Cerasoli burst on to the national scene when he had a breakout game in December's KMOX Shootout. He made nine of 15 shots from the field and four of six from beyond the arc. Cerasoli entered that game, averaging 11.3 points per game for the preseason #1 team in Illinois Class AA. He made an unofficial visit to Ohio State for the Buckeye-Minnesota football game and the coaching staff offered him a scholarship. Cerasoli is also getting looks from DePaul, Minnesota, North Carolina State, Auburn and Seton Hall.
Grant is from the same school that gave Wolfpack fans Julius Hodge. Saint Raymonds is ranked #12 in Student's Sports latest poll. Galvin has been described as a super athlete on the perimeter with Marcus Melvin like ability. Replacing Melvin with a 2004 prospect is a priority. Grant is also looking at the Richmond Spiders.
Grant and Cerasoli join PG Marquie Cooke and PF Cedric Simmons as the top NC State targets for 2004. It is believed that the Wolfpack will have three or possibly four scholarships to give.
TSW will provide exclusive coverage all four targets as their recruiting process continues to progress. You can talk about each prospect on their ‘Official Threads'.
