Lorenzo Brown Interview

"It's been a long year. It was an eye-opener for me. I did a lot of things in my past that I wasn't supposed to do, and I'm now back in full effect."

"I'm still working on a lot of things... I'm just waiting to get to NC State so I can improve more."

"I have a lot of confidence in Ryan. I've been around him all of my life basically, and I know what he can do. I'm just excited to play with him."

"C.J. is a character. He's a real character."

"I'm a scorer... Ryan can pass better than me and C.J. so I guess he'll be doing that, and C.J. brings a lot of athleticism to the table."

"I can [play point guard] when Ryan gets tired."

"I doubt he will [get tired]. Ryan plays basketball non-stop."

"I'd rather not be labeled as anything. I want to come in and do what I can do."

"We've got to come in and work hard next year so we can win more games."

"I've played with both of the guys before. They know what I can do and I know what they can do. We've got to be ready for that."

"I've always known they would be top level players, but it's kind of funny how they've matured since they were young."

"It's all about work ethic. We've got to come in and do what we have to do. We can't come in and play soft because I know Duke and Carolina will kill us if we do that. We've got to bring what they are going to bring to the table, and I know they are going to work hard."

"Be ready for a massacre. We're coming to kill."

"I have a lot of red stuff actually. I don't wear a lot of blue... it's really red or black."

"Here at Hargrave we do a lot of weights... I wasn't doing that in high school so I think my body has matured more, and with my game I've got a lot more smarter than I was in high school."
