D.C. Assault won all three of their pool games before losing in the first round of the playoffs. Cook, playing in the backcourt with Jerome Seagears, made plays for his teammates but also hit several big shots.

He has offers from programs all across the country and maintains that his recruitment is wide open at this point.

Cook is rated a five-star prospect by Scout.com and the No. 10 point guard in the 2011 recruiting class.
