'Fun Night' at Carter-Finley

RALEIGH, N.C. – Ever wonder what Mr. and Ms. Wuf do for fun on a Friday night? They like to move it, move it.

Join them this weekend, when NC State's favorite carnivores host the inaugural "Fun Night" at Carter-Finley Stadium, with games and a movie on the jumbo scoreboard inside the stadium.

The activities begin at 5:30 p.m. on the Dail Plaza between the football stadium and the RBC Center. Kids can enjoy face-painting, several inflatable jump houses, games, autographs and other fun with the mascots. Several current Wolfpack student-athletes will be on hand to participate in the activities.

Then, at 6:30 all guests will proceed to the football field, where they can spread blankets on the 50-yard line to watch Dreamworks' "Madagascar" on the stadium scoreboard in the north end zone. It's one of the couple's favorite films, since they are long-time friends with Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippopotamus and Melman the Giraffe.

Fans are encouraged to bring blankets (chairs are not allowed on the field) and a picnic dinner. Please, no glass containers or alcoholic beverages.

The evening activities cost $5 for Junior Wolfpack Club members and each family member and $8 for the general public (ages 3 and up), for kids and adults.
