A few NC State targets for the class of 2011 are on Scout.com's updated list of top 100 prospects, which was released today. Wolfpack commitment Joseph Uchebo made the cut after recently re-classifying from the 2012 class. The Raleigh (NC) Word of God product is currently No. 77.
Uchebo, a 6-foot-10, 240-pound center, had been a three-star prospect according to the network, but now he is ranked a four-star recruit and the No. 10 center in the country.
As a junior, Uchebo had a strong senior for Oak Ridge (NC) Military Academy, but last month he announced that he would be playing this fall at Raleigh (NC) Word of God Christian Academy.
Cook, who made headlines when he announced that he'd play this fall at Oak Hill Academy instead of DeMatha Catholic, is considered one of the top floor generals in the class. He's considering NC State, Duke, Arizona, and UCLA among others.
Bello, an in-state prospect who stars at High Point (NC) Westchester Academy, is a high-flying wing capable of excelling in transition or while attacking the basket. He is wide open at this point in the recruiting process.
The same could be said for Hood, a versatile wing out of Mississippi. The 6'8 small forward has been hearing from NC State for over a year and Wolfpack assistant Larry Harris is heading up his recruitment.
Pack Pride will have an updated recruiting board in the near future so stay tuned!
