O'Brien: Sweezy Working Hard

RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State head coach Tom O'Brien met with the media following Friday's practice. O'Brien discussed a number of topics including defensive tackle J.R. Sweezy.

"That's something we've been working on since we came here."

"I don't know if we'll see it take hold until we hit adversity."

"The proof in the pudding is going to be when we need it to really happen."

"More people know people now on team."

"I think [J.R. Sweezy] has done a nice job. He's worked extremely hard. It's a position, it's about the third position we put him in, but it's one that actually he feels comfortable with. We feel his skills can help us best at that position. I don't think anybody has worked harder, once he was able to get back with us than he has, and it's shown."

"You do stuff every year, but sometimes it's more meaningful to them."

"It sounds like it has taken hold a little more this year than in year's past."

"It's more learning the offense, getting where they are supposed to go."
