NCAA Denies Appeals

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- The NCAA has denied the appeal of University of North Carolina football student-athletes Deunta Williams and Kendric Burney. Williams was originally suspended for four games and Burney was suspended for six by the NCAA on September 22.

"I am disappointed for Deunta and Kendric, but I respect the NCAA's decision," said Director of Athletics Dick Baddour. "I appreciate the committee allowing us the opportunity to present their case"
