Opening comments:
"Well, to say that we feel very fortunate would be an understatement. I feel for Frank. Frank Haith does a great job and he's done a great job with this program since he came here. Last year, I felt like every game that went down the stretch something good happened to the other team and something bad happened to our team. He's had three of his last four conference games that have come down to one play, and I told him one of these days it's going to turn around for him.

"Again, we feel as lucky as we possible can be. That was a big shot by Harrison, to say the least. He made another big one a little bit earlier. He didn't play very well at all in the first half. We got a spark from Reggie and we got something from Leslie coming off the bench. Dexter was really good in the first half. We just kept trying, kept trying. Getting it tied at half was big for us. Then I challenged them at halftime because at Georgia Tech we had played poorly and were only down one at half and came out in the second half and turned a bad egg.

"So I think that we did compete. They made so many threes – every time I looked up I thought they were making a 3-point shot. But we knew that. They're first or second in the league in 3-point shooting and they're a difficult matchup for us. We went small a lot more than I like, just because Adrian [Thomas] as a four-man is a 3-point shooter and a tough matchup for ‘Z' or John or Justin Knox, anyone. We feel very, very fortunate."

Is it odd for a player that struggles throughout the game to step up and knock down shots in crunch time?
"Yeah, but he's a good shooter. He missed a wide open one right in front of our bench about midway through the second half and then they make a three on the other end on a second shot… But he's a good shooter. I'm dumb enough that every time I putt it, I think it's going in."

On Miami fans chanting 'overrated':
"That seems to be a usual thing I'm starting to hear... At the end of the day, we won the game. They're entitled to say and chant whatever they want."

Is it almost easier when there's no time left because it prevents you from thinking too much?
"No question. You just have to catch it in rhythm and let it go. I think that kind of frees your mind a little bit and lets you just play."

On Harrison Barnes:
"He's a special kind of player. That's the 'Black Falcon.' He wants the ball at crunch time, he wants to make the big play. He wants to put us on his back."

On the last play:
"On the last play, what we were trying to do, I wanted to get a screen-and-roll with Zeller, but there wasn't enough time on the clock and we were kind of scrambling around. So I was just trying to get the defense to commit to me and look for one of my shooters. And Harrison's man, he was playing a little bit high on him, so I figured if I lobbed it a little bit it would get to him. I think I still threw it short and got a little lucky, but he was able to hit a big shot."

You've only scored a handful of points in ACC play, but played big early tonight. Was that a focus over the past week?
"I'm just trying to go out there and contribute to the team. In the last couple of games, I don't think I've had a good game, so I tried to come in here and at least have more focus than I've had in the last few games. I put up more shots and stuff like that, driving and being more effective driving to the basket."

After scoring 12 points in the first half, you didn't score in the second half. Did they adjust to your play?
"In the second half, I just didn't shoot that much. I think I drove one time and got a charge. I didn't need to shoot. Reggie hit a big shot, Leslie hit a big shot and Harrison hit some big shots, so it's all about a team effort and that's what we did. We played as a team and got the win."
