"For a big guy he has really good feet," Southern Nash head coach Brian Foster said. "He moves well, is aggressive, and is an excellent run blocker."
This past football season, Boswell was brought up to varsity and immediately became a starter at left tackle in Southern Nash's double wing offense.
"What we do is let him get that flat back, get in that three-point stance, and get down hill in a hurry," Foster said. "With what we do [passing wise], it's mostly play-action, but he's capable of getting into a pass protection set."
Boswell is being recruited by Duke, East Carolina, NC State, North Carolina, and Virginia Tech.
"I think he'll have a great summer in camps," Foster said. "I'll be real surprised if he doesn't have a few offers from going to camps."
Boswell's summer camping schedule figures to include stops at Duke, UNC, and NC State.
Boswell has attended junior days at Duke and NC State, and a football game at UNC (versus Virginia Tech).
"You can tell he's a North Carolina guy – he doesn't want to go far from home," Foster said.
One in-state school in particular has grabbed Boswell's attention – Duke.
"At the moment they seem the most interested and actually talk to me about everything," Boswell said. "They've explained things about colleges and going there."
