After exiting with the rest of the North Carolina staff several weeks ago, Wojcik was one of the most coveted assistants in the country. Interviews with Michigan State and UCLA yielded offers from both schools and Wojcik chose the Spartans.
"I'm just getting so excited about the move, all the things Michigan State has to offer," Wojcik told the N&O. "It's all the stuff I got excited about at North Carolina. And a big part of that is Tom Izzo."
Wojcik, 39, has been on the national radar for some time. His impressive work with the UNC junior varsity team has been well documented and he was a candidate for the West Virginia head coaching vacancy a year ago.
