One of the top linebackers in the nation, Marlboro County's (SC) Robert Ayers wants to stay open to all schools recruiting him.

"South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida are just a small sampling of who I like," says the 6-foot-4, 227 pounder. "The schools that have offered me are South Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina and Clemson. I want to see who wants me before I decide to cut my list down."

Ayers, who will attend the Blacksburg Nike Camp, is not one to beat his chest regarding his stats or playmaking abilities.

"It is tough to say what makes me stand out from the other guys, since I don't like to talk about myself. I guess my game speed and the way I read offenses help."

With a strong showing at the Nike camp, Ayers could come out as one of the top linebackers in the nation following a junior season in which he had 89 tackles, 28 tackles for loss and six sacks in just 8 games.
