North Carolina remains in good shape for elite defensive end Andre Dunn, of Wendell (N.C.) East Wake, the same school that produced 2003 UNC signee Terry Hunter.
With a season in which he tallied 18 sacks, 98 tackles, and 6 blocked kicks, many thought East Wake (NC) defensive end Andre Dunn
would garner more attention than he currently has. However, Dunn is not letting it get to him.
"Oklahoma, North Carolina, Virginia, and Duke are my top four schools," says the 6-foot-3 ½, 210 pounder. "Virginia and Duke are probably recruiting me the hardest, but Oklahoma and North Carolina are my favorites."
As a defensive end, Dunn could be a bit undersized to play on Saturdays, and he understands that reasoning.
"I want to play defensive end, but I know I will probably have to play linebacker, so I am open to that."
Dunn could learn the position as early as this summer when he goes to the summer camps.
"I will probably make one day camps at Virginia, North Carolina, Duke, and maybe NC State."
