President, 6-foot-3, 242-pound defensive end from Mount Pleasant (S.C.) Wando, has made several previous visits to UNC. On Monday, the focus was touring the campus, seeing aspects he didn't see during those prior visits.
President's stay also included talking to members of the academic support staff, and spending two to three hours with Sam Pittman, his area recruiter, and Joe Robinson, UNC's defensive line coach.
"We just talked about academics. Coach Robinson said he wants to use me as a quick D-end there."
In addition to UNC, President has narrowed his focus to Auburn and South Carolina. He credits the relationship he has built with all three coaching staffs for his interest in the trio of schools.
President visited Auburn on Sunday.
"It went pretty good," President said. "I saw the campus and talked to the coaches."
President says a return visit to South Carolina is likely unnecessary.
"I've been to South Carolina a lot," President said. "I've talked to the coaches and I've seen most of the campus."
"Soon" after returning home from UNC, President hopes to be ready to make a verbal commitment.
"Hopefully before the summer is over [I'll decide]," said President, who has clearly been worn down by the process. "I would like to get it over before my season starts, so I can relax."
President admits, though, that he's unsure he'll be prepared to make a verbal commitment before his senior season begins.
