FSU's Anthony Richardson qualifies

Anthony Richardson

According to this morning's News & Record, Florida State signee Anthony Richardson has received a qualifying ACT score.

"I was tired of saying, 'I'm waiting.'" Richardson told the N&R. "It's off my shoulders now."

Richardson, a wiry 6-8 forward from Raleigh (NC) Leesville Road, was named to the McDonald's All-American Game and was ranked No. 27 in Prep Stars' final Class of 2001 Rankings.

Richardson Scouting Report by IC's Recruiting Analyst Clint Jackson: "An explosive slasher with energy, Richardson is the focal point of his team's offensive attack. He squares his body and shoots well from the perimeter and has shown range to the three point line. Richardson is very thin, especially in his lower body but has explosive hops. He moves very well without the ball and has good instincts in the half court set. Richardson's ability to score off the dribble and shoot from deep will allow him to have a major impact on the next level.
