Brian Johnson named USA Junior Team finalist

Brian Johnson suffered a MCL in his left knee Friday, but was still named one of the 16 finalists for the 2003 USA Junior World Championship Team.

"Brian Johnson's selection is contingent on him being medically cleared to compete in the USA training camp which starts June 24," according to USA Basketball.

The final team of 12 will be determined from June 24 to July 6 at the USA training camp in Dallas, Texas. The 2003 FIBA Men's Junior World Championship Tournament is July 10-20 in Thessaloniki, Greece.
