Miller Adds Two ACC Offers

Tuesday was a good day on the recruiting front for Jaylen Miller. The 6-foot-2, 263-pound defensive tackle added scholarship offers from two ACC schools.

"North Carolina and Duke offered me today," Miller said. "[The UNC offer] came quick – I was just up there Saturday and I already got an offer. [UNC] is definitely a place I would look further into."

Prior to Tuesday, Miller had just two scholarship offers – both from Division I-AA schools: Alabama State and Furman.

Still allowing the new offers to sink in, Miller is hesitant to name any favorite schools.

"I'll make that decision the more visits I take," Miller said. "My parents and I are supposed to talk about visiting North Carolina this week – we were talking about making a visit up there for a spring practice and then we're probably going to make it up there for the spring game."

Miller attended UNC's Junior Day on Saturday where he was introduced to Deke Adams, the Tar Heels' defensive line coach. Adams and Miller also spoke on Tuesday.

"He was asking about my parents and stuff," Miller said. "He was talking about the dates of practices and how he wants to get to know me and build a relationship with him. He wanted to make sure we keep in touch."
