Taylor's Decision May Be Near

Hilee Taylor came very close to committing to the Tar Heels after attending the UNC camp. What now for the Scotland County star?

Scotland County's Hilee Taylor received an offer from the North Carolina at their summer camp. He talked with his family and considered committing to the Tar Heels but has now decided to attend the South Carolina camp to be sure.

Taylor plays defensive end in high school but where are the North Carolina coaches recruiting him to play?

"They said they would like for me to play linebacker, but I would probably be used as a down lineman on first and second down and then play up on third down."

South Carolina was his favorite school prior to his visit to UNC, so it remains to be seen if the Tar Heels can hold on to their advantage.

Taylor showed his speed at a recent combine turning in a very fast 4.45 40-time. He is said to be very quick off the ball and has the speed to run just about anyone down. Scots head coach Mark Barnes said Taylor has the frame to get up to 240 or 250 pounds.
