"When we got there he showed us the coaches office," he added. "He took us in his office and we started talking. He showed us around the gym and the weight room and locker room and the basketball museum. They have a lot of pictures. He said they like pictures. It was really, really cool."
Collier didn't have much time on campus due to a scheduled plane flight and wasn't able to meet with Roy Williams, so he's hoping to set up another trip to UNC in the near future.
"We only had two hours because we had to go catch a flight," Collier said. "We are going to schedule another time to go and meet the academic guys and see the dorms."
"He wasn't there this time," Collier said about Roy Williams. "That's another reason why we want to visit another time. He was at a charity event for golf."
Although Williams wasn't present, Collier spent time with Robinson and the two discussed his summer plans.
"We were just talking and he was just talking about how I was playing at Chris Paul's camp and asking about my goals for the summer," Collier said. "He wants the rest of my summer schedule. He was just talking about the program."
Despite the trip being brief, Collier was able to get a good feel for what the Tar Heels have to offer.
"I really liked it," he said. "Only being there for two hours, I didn't get to see everything. For the two hours I was there, I really liked it."
Collier, who is also being recruited by Wake Forest, Kansas, Arizona, Purdue, Iowa, California, Tulsa and Georgetown, said a potential scholarship offer wasn't discussed.
"They haven't said anything about an offer yet. They are recruiting me pretty good."
At this point, Collier hasn't set up any more potential visits.
