Dudley Three back from UVa.

Jamaal Edwards recently listed North Carolina, Florida State and Miami as the three schools that he is most interested in. He departs on Wednesday or Thursday for an unofficial visit to Tallahassee and will return on Saturday.

"I'm not going down to camp," Edwards said. "I plan on getting familiar with the school and getting a chance to talk to the Seminole coaches."

A question on many coaches' minds is ‘Are the Dudley prospects a package deal?'

"I think we have to decide which school is best for each one of us," Edwards said. "It will come down to either Virginia or Carolina for Martel. Demario is pretty wide open."

Edwards is still not sure when he will make his decision, but he said that UNC and FSU are still recruiting him the hardest.

"After my visit to Florida State, I will sit down with my high school coach [Victor Floyd] and see if it is better for me to commit now or wait until later," Edwards said. "If I commit now, then I know that my spot will be saved if I get injured. I also can focus more on my football season and academics."

Inside Carolina also talked to Thatch following his visit to Virginia.

"It went really good," the Dudley free safety said. "I'd say it was about the same as the Carolina visit. I'm going to Carolina one more time this summer, and after that I will probably decide. I'm ready to get the recruiting stuff over."

Thatch visited Charlottesville with his teammates Edwards and Demario Pressley.
