Vonleh Trims List to Six

Noah Vonleh reclassified to the 2013 about a month ago. Now, he is ready to put his recruitment in full swing. The Top 10 senior forward has trimmed his list to six schools.

"Yeah, I cut my list," Vonleh confirmed. "Syracuse, North Carolina, Georgetown, Indiana, UConn, and Ohio State."

The 6-8, 225-pound prospect from New Hampton (N.H.) School offered some brief thoughts on each of the finalists.

"Syracuse is a great program that has similar players to me and has sent some players to the league.

"UNC has had so many great players and I could hopefully be a part of that.

"Georgetown prepares players for the NBA.

"Indiana is starting to come back where it used to be.

"UConn is a great program that sends a lot of players to the league.

"Ohio State is always a good program."

Next up are visits, and Syracuse and Indiana are slated for early November, according to his coach, with Georgetown and Ohio State trips as possibilities before or after. Vonleh is expected to see UNC when his team travels to Raleigh, N.C. in late December for a basketball tournament.
