Ratliff Commits

North Carolina landed its top quarterback target in the 2015 class on Monday as Anthony Ratliff committed to the Tar Heels, sources confirm.

The 6-foot, 179-pounder at Matthews (N.C.) Butler also held offers from Clemson, N.C. State and Mississippi State.

Ratliff passed for 2,362 yards and 30 touchdowns his junior season at Butler, and rushed for 1,443 yards and 20 touchdowns.

"That's the thing with him, he can be any kind of quarterback," Butler head coach Brian Hales said. "He's a kid that if he's in the pocket and he has time, he'll pick the defense apart. But, he's able to hurt a defense with his legs, too."
