”I haven't officially narrowed my list down, but the main schools I’m looking at right now are Wake Forest, NC State, Boston College, UConn and James Madison," said Marcus Marshall, who holds 14 scholarship offers. "I’ve visited all those schools and I feel very comfortable at each.”
According to Marshall, Wake Forest, NC State, Boston College and James Madison are recruiting him the hardest.
What’s next for the Millbrook standout?
”I’ll probably narrow it down for good sometime in September,” said the 5-foot-9, 201-pound Marshall. "I’m either going to cut it to five or three.
"I want to see the game environments at those schools. I also want to talk to the players about the coaches and really get a feel for how I would fit in at each school.”
Marshall is unsure when he will make his college choice.
”It depends because I might be graduating early,” he said. “If that happens, I’m going to have to decide earlier. But right now, I don’t have a set date for my decision.”
He is looking forward to his senior campaign.
”I’m excited about the season,” Marshall said. “We want to win the conference and then win a state championship. It’s going to take hard work, being unselfish and just coming together.”
