Francis Out For The Season

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - An MRI has confirmed that North Carolina sophomore tailback Khris Francis tore the ACL, MCL and meniscus in his right knee in the Tar Heels’ win over Pittsburgh on Saturday afternoon.

Francis suffered the injury in the second quarter.

The Durham, N.C. native appeared in all 10 games this season. In his first two seasons (2013-14), he's totaled 263 rushing yards on 75 carries, as well as 16 receptions for 110 yards.

A surgery date has not yet been been determined.
