Enrollees Ready for S&C

The football recruits that enrolled this week will soon get their first taste of college-level strength and conditioning in the weight room and then at Blue Dawn. The new arrivals discussed the workouts that await them ....

J.K. Britt: “I’m excited ... Blue Dawn, I know it will be tough, [but] I had a couple of coaches tell me to just make it through the first couple and I’ll be fine. It will be an experience, but I’m ready for it.”

Jalen Dalton: “I know it’s going to be hard, because it’s heavy conditioning. I just have to prepare for it – that’s how you get better.”

Juval Mollette: “Blue Dawn, I know, is going to be hard, but I just know it’s only going to get me better. So I look at all that stuff as motivation. I’m just getting excited. All I’m really worried about is transition of classes and stuff like that – [I’m going from] high school classes to college classes. Other than that, I’m just excited.”

Anthony Ratliff-Williams: “It’s going to be a great transition. You have to learn how to adapt. That’s the big thing that’s going to take place for me is adapting to the school and adapting to these workouts that are coming up. That’s what I’ve been preparing for throughout high school. I just have to take it all in, work hard, and be the best player I can be. I want to help this team out.”

Andre Smith: “I know it’s going to be hard, because if it was easy everybody would do it. I’m just going to grind and grind it out.”

William Sweet: “I’m excited. I expect to get better everyday.”

Mason Veal: “I’m just going to go in and work out. I’m not expecting, of course, to walk in and be first team. I know it’s going to be difficult and harder than any high school work out. So I’m just going to come in, keep my head down, work hard, and see what happens.”

Ty'Son Williams: “Working out, I have a love for that. Of course I’m going to be a little sore for the first couple of days, but I’ll get used to it and it’s something I look forward to because I love working out.”
