* The offense started the first series by getting into a groove through the ground game. Running back T.J. Logan worked heavily with the first team and saw his fair share of carries and screens out of the backfield. Overall the offense looked strong as they drove their way inside the 20 yard line and also drew a defensive pass interference flag in the end zone before head coach Larry Fedora flipped the field for a first team punt/punt return.

* The real star on offense in this morning’s scrimmage was tight end Kendrick Singleton. The senior hauled in three long passes, one of which was a touchdown catch and run of 60-plus yards. Nearly all of his routes were along the hash marks on either side of the field as he lined up as the inside receiver....
