Center Udoka Azubuike Schedules UNC Visit

North Carolina will host 2016 center Udoka Azubuike.

Udoka Azubuike has scheduled a visit to North Carolina, a pair of sources confirmed.

Azubuike’s Chapel Hill trip will be an official visit and is set for Oct. 23, which is the weekend of UNC’s Late Night with Roy.

The trip to Chapel Hill will be his first. Azubuike, has, however, taken a pair of official visits. He visited Kansas the weekend of Sept. 19 and Florida State the weekend of Oct. 10.

Roy Williams and Hubert Davis conducted an in-home visit with Azubuike, who stars at Jacksonville (Fla.) Potter’s Christian Academy, on Sept. 17.

Azubuike, a 6-foot-10, 275-pound burly post player, played for the Georgia Stars on the Nike EYBL summer circuit. Through 25 games in the league, Azubuike averaged 13.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and a pair of blocks a game.

He is regarded as Scout’s No. 36 overall prospect and No. 7 center in the 2016 recruiting class.
