CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Nate Britt scored 11 of his team-high 17 points during a five-minute span in the second half to wake top-ranked North Carolina from its doldrums in Sunday's 92-65 victory over Fairfield.

Britt tied career-highs in points and made 3-point field goals (4). The junior point guard shot 6-of-9 from the floor, including a 4-of-6 effort from beyond the arc. He's scored 31 points in UNC's first two games, which is also a career-high for points in consecutive games.
