Given his athleticism at 6-foot-3 and 310 pounds, Kyree Campbell is your prototypical high potential prospect. But that doesn’t mean the defensive tackle wasn’t production during Woodbridge (Va.) High’s 2015 season.
In fact, Campbell was Woodbridge’s most reliable defensive playmaker. His penetrating ability – thanks to his quick first step, athleticism, and high motor – allowed him to consistently rack up the TFLs. Overall, he was a tackling machine because of his knack for quickly shedding blocks and then wrapping up ball carriers.
With those aforementioned skills, Campbell regularly demolished pockets from the inside thus flushing opposing quarterbacks during his pass rush.
