ICTV Film Room: Failed Fake Punt vs Clemson

A closer look at the fake punt North Carolina failed to execute for a first down in the ACC Championship Game and how it could have worked.

At the 5:41 mark of the third quarter, trailing Clemson 28-16 on fourth-and-10 from their own 31 yard line, the Tar Heels attempted a fake punt and failed to make a first down.

"We were playing really well in all our special teams units and we had a good fake, and it was set up and it was there," UNC head coach Larry Fedora said after the game. "We just didn't execute it. We didn't get it done.”

Inside Carolina's Jason Staples takes you inside the ICTV GIF film room to break down the play, tell you why it failed, and explain how it was the right call and could have led to a first down.
