North Carolina midterm enrollee Myles Dorn starred at wide receiver and cornerback for Charlotte (N.C.) Vance during the 2015 season. The man coverage skills, physicality, and ball skills he displayed at the aforementioned positions should be huge assets at his projected UNC position – safety.
In coverage, the unflappable, intense Dorn enjoys locking horns with receivers of all sizes. At the same time, the 6-foot-1, 175-pounder has the hips, length, and ball reaction to make passing on his receiver difficult.
Dorn never shies away from contact. In fact, he seems to enjoy interloping into a play – whether it be hitting an unsuspecting receiver coming across the middle or diving at a running back entering the second level.
Dorn has the hands and playmaking ability of any receiver prospect – as a matter of fact, several college recruited him for that position.
