ICTV: Scouting UNC TE Commit Noah Turner

Evaluating senior footage of the UNC commitment.

A stress fracture in his foot forced North Carolina pledge Noah Turner’s senior season to end prematurely. The void left Mundelein (Ill.) Carmel without its versatile H-back who contributes as a receiver, in-line blocker, and blocker in space.

In five games, Turner caught ten passes for 155 yards and a touchdown. Omitted from the stat sheet, though, is his effectiveness as a blocker. Whether its in-line or out in space, he’s a competitive blocker who drives his legs and works to finish.

Turner is equally comfortable running routes detached and attached. Regardless, he’s a dependable, underneath target.
