UNC's 2016 Football Schedule Unveiled

North Carolina opens the 2016 college football season on Sept. 3 against Georgia.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- A season-opening matchup with Georgia in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game, a trip to Florida State on Oct. 1 and a season finale against N.C. State on the Friday after Thanksgiving highlight North Carolina's 2016 football schedule.

UNC will also play Duke in a Thursday night game at Wallace Wade Stadium on Nov. 10.

Sept. 10 - Illinois - Champaign, Ill.
Sept. 17 - James Madison - Chapel Hill
Sept. 24 - Pittsburgh - Chapel Hill
Oct. 1 - Florida State - Tallahassee, Fla.
Oct. 8 - Virginia Tech - Chapel Hill
Oct. 15 - Miami - Coral Gables, Fla.
Oct. 22 - Virginia - Charlottesville, Va.
Nov. 5 - Georgia Tech - Chapel Hill
Nov. 10 - Duke - Durham, N.C.
Nov. 19 - Citadel - Chapel Hill
Nov. 25 - NC State - Chapel Hill
