Tragic events alter recruiting visit schedule

While Tuesday's tragic events didn't stop the Carolina staff's in-home visit with Brad Buckman (since the coaches were already in flight), it has forced the rescheduling of two important upcoming recruiting dates, reports IC's Recruiting Insider, Zeke Martins.

The staff was scheduled to make their in-home visit with center target Jason Fraser in Amityville, N.Y. on Thursday night, but that has been postponed. A new date for the visit has not yet been determined. Fraser will officially visit the Chapel Hill campus on the weekend of Oct. 13. He also had an official visit to St. John's scheduled for this weekend, though that isn't likely to happen.

After Tuesday night's in-home visit with power forward Brad Buckman in Austin, Texas, Buckman was supposed to make an official visit to UNC this weekend. That visit, however, has been rescheduled. Buckman is now expected to take that visit the following weekend (Sept. 21-23), which includes the football game versus Florida State. Buckman was scheduled to visit UCLA that weekend, so that visit has likely been pushed back as well.
