Add in Arizona and the six schools have something in common. They've all offered McRoberts a scholarship. Folks, that's recruiting at the elite level.
In some circles, there are even rumors that McRoberts could be ready to pull the trigger. "I wouldn't say I'm getting close to making a commitment," McRoberts said. "I'm just going to take my time and I'll commit when the time is right."
And that can be defined how? "The only time table I really put on it is hopefully I can make a decision by the beginning of my senior season."
Regardless of when he makes the decision, you can pretty much assume that a winner will come from the elite pack that is involved. "I'm not saying that I already know [where I'm going] but I'm thinking one of those schools I'll choose to attend."
September unofficial visits to North Carolina and Duke are not out of the question but they have not been set up yet either.
McRoberts showed a good amount of versatility on the summer scene with Indiana Red. He's a gifted rebounder and he not one to neglect his duties inside. By the time the high school season starts, you can bet that he'll have expanded his game to include a mid-range jumper at the very minimum. This is one of the top 2005 players at his position and he's got loads of potential.
