UNC Adds JuCo CB Robert Morgan to 2016 Class

UNC dips into JuCo ranks to add veteran depth to secondary.

North Carolina has made a late addition to its 2016 commitment list, Inside Carolina sources confirm. Robert Morgan, a JuCo cornerback, verbally committed to UNC while officially visiting this weekend.

Morgan, a 5-foot-11, 185-pounder, spent the past two seasons at Pasadena City (Calif.) JC. Before that, he prepped at Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian.

Wanting to add veteran depth to his secondary, UNC defensive backs coach Charlton Warren recently began recruiting Morgan.

Morgan will enroll in Chapel Hill for this summer's second summer session, joining the remainder of UNC's 2016 incoming class. He will have two years of eligibility remaining, plus a red-shirt season.
