CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- North Carolina's 2016-17 basketball schedule is nearly complete after the school released the nonconference portion of the slate on Wednesday afternoon.
The Tar Heels will open the season in New Orleans against Tulane on Nov. 11. Their home opener against Chattanooga comes two days later on Nov. 13. The nonconference highlights will occur away from the Dean E. Smith Center with a trip to Hawaii for the Maui Invitational on Nov. 21-23 followed by a road trip to Indiana for an ACC/Big Ten matchup on Nov. 30 and a neutral site game against Kentucky in Las Vegas on Dec. 17.
UNC's full ACC schedule will be released later this summer.
