After the festivities were over, and before heading home, Caleb Rozar had a message for Larry Fedora: he's a Tar Heel
The 6-foot-3, 184-pound cornerback from Dickson County (Tenn.) High committed to UNC late Saturday night following Fedora's Freak Show in Chapel Hill.
"I just trust the coaches and how they're going to use me," Rozar said of the Tar Heel staff.
Rozar chose UNC over Wake Forest, Nebraska, Louisville, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Memphis and others. He made prior trips to Chapel Hill for UNC's win over Miami last season and then returned this past February for UNC's Junior Day.
“I like how their academics are set up for athletes,” Rozar said. “Their tutoring is set up for their athletes to be successful after football.”
Rozar ended his junior season at Dickson County with 64 tackles and a dozen pass breakups. He also had 15 catches with limited reps at receiver.
UNC is recruiting Rozar as a cornerback.
