Montgomery (Ala.) Catholic bounced back from last week’s loss to easily beat crosstown rival Trinity Presbyterian, 26-8, on Friday night. The Knights scored on three of its first five drives with North Carolina pledge Brian Anderson anchoring the offensive line.
At 6-foot-3 and 272 pounds, Anderson projects as a center in college. However, he started and primarily lined up at left tackle, and then moved along the O-line – sans center – throughout the game.
Regardless of where he played, Anderson consistently locked onto his targets and prevented them from making plays. He also seemed to take joy in burying several defenders while finishing his blocks.
