CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- In a weather game like this, UNC’s offense was dealt a harsh blow with not having tailback Elijah Hood, left guard Caleb Peterson and tight end Brandon Fritts. Those are three key positions in a grind-it-out affair. T.J. Logan played well enough in Hood’s place, although having to burn Jordon Brown’s redshirt six games in was not a preferable option. Nick Polino started in Peterson’s place, although Tommy Hatton rotated in at both guard positions throughout the game. Carl Tucker has potential as a young tight end, but he’s not yet the receiving threat that Fritts proved to be last season. ...
