ICTV Film Room: Trubisky to Proehl Touchdown

The Tar Heels found another deep threat against the Virginia Cavaliers after Mack Hollins was lost for the year to injury.

Without Mack Hollins on the field, the Carolina offense needs to find other vertical threats in the passing game. Against UVA, that player was Austin Proehl, who has had a breakout junior season, with this deep post route that sealed the game for the Tar Heels especially displaying Proehl's speed and body control.

Proehl was actually wide open on the same play in the second quarter only to be overthrown by Trubisky, with the offensive staff returning to the same concept out of a different look when they needed a big play in the fourth quarter. Unlike in the first half, Trubisky puts this one on the money and Proehl made the catch needed to put away the Cavaliers.

Let's go inside the ICTV GIF film room for a closer look.
