UNC's Luke Maye Playing To His Strengths

Sophomore will have larger role in Tar Heel frontcourt this season.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - After getting his feet wet as a freshman, Luke Maye will see a significant increase in court time as a sophomore.

"When you only have four big guys, they're all going to play," Roy Williams said.

Maye aims to take advantage of the opportunity by becoming a more dependable defender and jump shooter, while continuing to develop his best skill: rebounding.

Williams preaches to his big men to play their strengths, and with Maye's growing versatility and reliability, that should mean more playing.
