UNC, State battle for Hall

Marshville defensive lineman Marque Hall traveled to Chapel Hill for the North Carolina-Florida State game this past Saturday. He arrived at the game a little late so he did not have a chance to visit with the UNC coaching staff for very long.

Did the convincing loss at the hands of the Seminoles have an affect on how he feels about the Tar Heels?

"No, not really," Hall said. "The way I figure it, you win some and you lose some. North Carolina will get one of my official visits and I plan to go to as many North Carolina and North Carolina State games as I can.

"North Carolina is still right in there," he said. "I know one game I am going to is the North Carolina-N.C. State game. I like going to those games because both schools are fairly close to where I live."

Hall started his senior year strong, recording 23 tackles, six sacks, three blocked field goals, and two forced fumbles and recoveries in just three games. The Yellow Jackets are 1-2.

Hall, who is also considering Virginia and Clemson, among other schools, says he might wait until after the season before taking his official visits.
