Carolina still on Pressley's mind

Greensboro Dudley defensive lineman Demario Pressley took an unofficial visit to Chapel Hill to see the Tar Heels take on Florida State. His parents joined him in Kenan Stadium this past Saturday as well. Inside Carolina spoke with the state's No. 1-ranked prospect on Wednesday.

"We had a lot of fun. I saw some of the other recruits there like Trimaine Goddard (Robersonville Roanoke) and Javod Simmons (Winston-Salem Carver)," Pressley said. "My teammate Martel Thatch was also there. I talked some with Coach [James] Webster, Coach [Brad] Lawing, and Coach [John] Bunting before the game. It really didn't matter to me that Carolina lost as far as how much I like them. I have set one official visit to Notre Dame for Nov. 1. I am not sure what other teams I might visit."

Not surprising, Pressley is getting plenty of phone calls from college coaches.

"It hasn't been too bad yet," he said. "I like the attention so far. A Georgia Tech coach was on the phone right before you called."

Pressley has gotten off to a fast start to the 2003 season as he has collected six sacks in just two games. Dudley 1-1 so far this year.
