CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- On Tuesday, Roy Williams said there's one thing North Carolina has focused on more than anything else this season: stopping penetration to the basket.
"We've continued to work on it, we've worked on it every single day," Williams said. "I'd say, if someone were to look at the practice plans and look at the tapes of all of our practices, we've worked on it more than any one single thing we do."
With UNC facing a Duke offense that is so dependent on penetration and three-pointers - highlighted by the ACC's third leading scorer in Luke Kennard - on Thursday, discipline on the perimeter will be necessary. Though Theo Pinson's return is still up in the air, Justin Jackson said he welcomes the possibility of UNC playing a smaller lineup with him at the 'four' position.
