UNC Offense Prepares for Virginia

Roy Williams and Justin Jackson break down UVa's tempo and defensive strategies.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Virginia will come into the Smith Center on Saturday and try to take one of North Carolina's strengths away: speed.

In theory for head coach Roy Williams, this game is no different than any other ACC matchup, in that the Tar Heels must be able to adjust their play and perform at a high rate offensively in the same ways they have during most of the season.

Easier said than done against the Cavaliers, but that's the task at hand.

"If you can only play one way I don't think you can make a consistent run, through this league for sure, but even nationally," Williams said. "I think you've got to be able to play in more than one way because you're not always in charge."
