CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- North Carolina seniors Kennedy Meeks, Nate Britt, Isaiah Hicks, Stilman White and Kanler Coker, will step onto the floor of the Smith Center on Saturday night for the final time.
That's five men head coach Roy Williams hopes to see step onto the court stronger and more mature than they were when they started their Tar Heel careers.
Joel Berry said he's lucky to have had the time to grow with, learn from, and get to know these seniors, but that time has gone by a little too fast.
"It's pretty crazy, I feel like the season just started and now it's the last game of the season," Berry said. "And my time with them will be a little bit short."
However, Berry says that while his five teammates will soon be departing Chapel Hill, they've created a bond that will last forever.
"One good thing about this program is that it's like a brotherhood," Berry said. "Even though they're gone, we're still going to be connected."
