CHAPEL HILL, N.C. --- Wendell Moore looked right at home at the Smith Center on Saturday night.

He earned game MVP honors leading Cox Mill to a 70-66 win over Eastern Guilford for the school's first state championship.

The sophomore, who is a major Tar Heel basketball recruiting target, posted 29 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks. He was 6-of-12 from the field, and 17-of-20 from the free throw line.
