ICTV: UNC's Joel Berry Talks Ankle Injury

The junior point guard turned his right ankle early in the second half of UNC's 103-64 win over Texas Southern in the NCAA Tournament's opening round on Friday.

GREENVILLE, S.C. --- Tar Heel nation got a scare when Joel Berry fell to on the floor on Friday.

North Carolina's point guard was holding his right ankle as the trainer came out early in the second half of UNC's NCAA Tournament opener against Texas Southern.

“I just landed on somebody’s foot,” Berry said. “I’m fine, just scared myself a little bit, but other than that, I’m good. I just tested it out, so I’m fine.”

After heading to the locker room, Berry returned to the court several minutes later and saw a little more playing time before calling it a day.
